“I’ll get some visits scheduled after the AAU season,” he said, adding when asked if Louisville could get a visit, “Oh, for sure. For sure.”
247Sports national analyst Travis Branham said earlier this week the top contenders for Brown “as of today sound to be Alabama, Kentucky and Louisville.”
Brown said he was “excited” to see what new U of L coach Pat Kelsey and the staff could do. He said he knew the program had been down for a couple of years but expected “big things” from Kelsey and his staff this coming season.
“They’re going to be really good,” he said. “And it’s Louisville. Of course, they had guys like Don (Donovan Mitchell) and people like Russ Smith and Jordan Nwora.
“It’s a basketball city and coach Kelsey and his staff will do a great job.”
Brown is the No. 8 overall player in the class of 2025 according to 247 Sports.
