—U of L has announced that Defensive lineman Ashton Gillotte, cornerback Quincy Riley and quarterback Tyler Shough will be the three players joining Jeff Brohm in Charlotte for ACC media day next week.

—Due to a family medical emergency, Kyle Kuric will not play for The Ville team in the upcoming TBT. The official roster for the squad is now: Dillon Avare, Chane Behanan, Montrezl Harrell, David Johnson, Chris Jones, Nick Mayo, Omar Prewitt, Chinanu Onuaku, Russ Smith, Peyton Siva, and Derrick Walker.

—Pat Kelsey has offered Jeffersonville High School standout Tre Singleton.

Brown has taken visits to UCF and Ole Miss but at this time doesn’t have any other visits scheduled. Louisville joins schools like Alabama, Arizona State, Kansas, Kentucky, Ole Miss and UCF showing the most interest.

“I’ll get some visits scheduled after the AAU season,” he said, adding when asked if Louisville could get a visit, “Oh, for sure. For sure.”

247Sports national analyst Travis Branham said earlier this week the top contenders for Brown “as of today sound to be Alabama, Kentucky and Louisville.”

Brown said he was “excited” to see what new U of L coach Pat Kelsey and the staff could do. He said he knew the program had been down for a couple of years but expected “big things” from Kelsey and his staff this coming season.‌

“They’re going to be really good,” he said. “And it’s Louisville. Of course, they had guys like Don (Donovan Mitchell) and people like Russ Smith and Jordan Nwora.

“It’s a basketball city and coach Kelsey and his staff will do a great job.”

Brown is the No. 8 overall player in the class of 2025 according to 247 Sports.
