The case for hiring a female men's basketball coach

This would be the greatest hire in sports history. And we're in a wonderful position where we have so much to gain and not very much to lose. Sure, it'll be controversial. Whoever takes the job will face some despicable taunts (and sadly, threats). However, she could revolutionize the profession. I don't know about you all, but whenever I watch women's basketball, I can see obvious cohesion, set plays, tactics. They play like they've been practicing together. They play like they understand the fundamentals of basketball. Not just Louisville women's, but most women's teams seem better at the fundamentals.

It's something we should have known for a long time. Women are better than men. Female coaches are better too. Hire Dawn Staley and she will herald a new era of Louisville dominance and usher in a new era for the sport.
