Louisville Baseball Schedule Released

The Cards will open the 2024 season on February 16 in Tampa

The Louisville Baseball team will be put to the test with a gauntlet of a schedule in 2024 as they look to get back on track this season. Of the 56 games the schedule, 30 of them will come against teams that participated in the NCAA Tournament in 2023.

From a fan standpoint, you will have plenty of opportunities to watch high caliber baseball as 14 of the 35 home games will come against postseason teams.

Dan McDonnell and Co. will open the season on February 16-18 in Tampa as part of a round robin with Indiana State, USF, and Connecticut. Indiana State and Connecticut both played in the postseason in 2023 and will provide major tests early on. The Cards return home and play a stretch of 18 straight games at JPS with the home opener coming on February 21 against Xavier.

In ACC play, Louisville will host Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, Virginia, Clemson, and Notre Dame. They will travel to Wake Forest, who will likely be the favorite to win the conference, Florida State, Miami, Boston College, and North Carolina. There is no way around it, that is just a brutal conference road schedule.

Put an asterisk next to the Lipscomb games (March 12-13) as the Bison have beat Louisville in each of the last two seasons.

The Cardinals and Wildcats will play their annual home-and-home series, a visit to Nashville for the Battle of the Barrel with Vanderbilt, and a home game against Indiana round out the other noteworthy out of conference games.

79 Days.
