A week after having the end of its regular season spoiled by arch-rival Kentucky, the Louisville football team will have its own opportunity to play spoiler.

The Cards are headed to Charlotte for the ACC Championship Game, where they’ll face a Florida State team that is almost certainly one win away from a trip to the College Football Playoff. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Seminoles are a 5.5-point favorite in the game, marking just the third time this season that Louisville has been an underdog. U of L is 2-0 in the other two games (Notre Dame and Miami).

Florida State will be playing for the second time without star quarterback and Louisville transfer Jordan Travis, who suffered a season-ending lower leg injury two weeks ago. The Seminole offense was not spectacular in the team’s regular season finale, but it did enough to dispatch of rival Florida, 24-15.

The 2023 ACC Championship Game will kickoff at 8 p.m. on ABC.
