Louisville opened as a 1-point favorite for Saturday’s road game at Florida State. That line has since moved to U of L -2.5 at most books.
The Cardinals will be facing a desperate FSU team this weekend. The Seminoles fell at Wake Forest, 35-14, on Saturday, dropping them to 0-3 on the season. It’s the first time a Florida State team has lost its first three games of a season since 1976.
Even with all the momentum seeming to be on Louisville’s side for this one, “road favorite” is not a title the Cardinals have worn well in recent years.
Something of note for Saturday:

Louisville just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 Road games as a 7 point favorite or less. Just 2-5 ATS in last 7 against road team on a 3 or more game losing streak.
Here’s hoping both those trends are bucked six days from now and we’re celebrating a 1-0 start to ACC play.
