On Tuesday, NFL teams had to make their final cuts to get their rosters down to 53 players. For some, this is a great day where their dreams come true. For others, it’s a day where their dream is either crushed or just put on hold. With some help from Kelly Dickey (@RealCardGame), I am going to list the former Louisville Cardinals that made the final roster for their respective team, as well as the guys that were not so fortunate.

The NFL season kicks off on Thursday, September 9th.

Officially on an NFL roster

Broncos – QB Teddy Bridgewater

Dolphins – WR DeVante Parker

Falcons – LB Dorian Etheridge

Jets – OL Mekhi Becton

Jets – DL Sheldon Rankins

Packers – DB Jaire Alexander

Panthers – OL John Miller

Rams – WR Tutu Atwell

Ravens – QB Lamar Jackson

Texans – OL Geron Christian

Texans – DE Jonathan Greenard

Coaches

Eagles – Jonathan Gannon – DC

Falcons – Dave Ragone – OC

Chiefs – Sam Madison – DBs/CBs

Dolphins – Kolby Smith – Quality Control

NFL Ops – Roman Oben – VP of Youth & HS Strategy

Players that did not make the final roster

49ers – LB James Burgess

Chargers – DL Jared Goldwire (Retired)

Chiefs – DB Marlon Character

Dolphins – DB Josh Harvey-Clemons

Giants – TE Cole Hikutini

Panthers – RB Reggie Bonnafon

Texans – DL Brandon Dunn

Hopefully some of these guys can land on practice squads and still have a shot at making it in the league. Best of luck to everyone listed here. The Cards are well-represented in the NFL!
