Thoughts: I didn’t go back and check but I believe Victoine may have been one of the first, if not THE first, commits in the class of ‘21 as it was back in March that he announced his allegiance to the Cards. Victoine (VIC-Twan) had a laundry list of offers from other P5 schools but stuck with the Cards and Coach Ivey during the process.
When Victoine signed he was listed at 230 on his Hudl page but the staff mentioned wanting to get him up to that 270-275 range. As of today on the official roster he’s still listed at 230 so not sure if that’s still an ongoing battle or if the info is just out of date. Either way it will be something to keep an eye on as Coach Ivey and Coach Brown I’m sure would like for him to bulk up a bit before he sees the field extensively. In watching the clips below you can see the potential in Brown for sure. He’s got good pursuit of the ball, nice upper body movement to shed blockers, and he shows really good spatial awareness recognizing when he needs to be going at 100 towards the QB and when he needs to sit and wait for a screen or draw or pass in the flats.
I think there is a possibility we see Brown this year in some situations but my guess if we save a year on him as he gets some size. I’m really excited about some of these younger guys on the line and what Brown is building in the trenches.

2018 LI Division I Champion at Freeport ❤️
2020 GHSA 7A Champion at Grayson
Brown got to wear the crown twice in just four seasons playing at two different levels in two different states. Here’s hoping the young man stacks up a few more championships during his time in Louisville
