After going unselected in Thursday night’s NBA draft, former Louisville point guard Carlik Jones has signed a deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

Jones was spectacular in his first and only season at Louisville. The graduate transfer from Radford earned First Team All-ACC honors and was the runner-up for the ACC Player of the Year award. He was the only player in the ACC to rank among the top six in scoring (16.8 ppg, 6th in the ACC), assists (4.5 apg, 4th), assists/turnovers ratio (2.18, 4th) and free throw percentage (.815, 3rd).

SMU’s Feron Hunt and Oregon’s Eugene Omoruyi also inked undrafted free agent deals with Dallas.

Best of luck to Carlik as he begins the process of trying to make an NBA roster.
