The 2021 Louisville football team has been picked to finish sixth in the Atlantic Division in the annual ACC preseason media poll, which saw 147 of the league’s media members cast ballots.
The Cardinals were picked to finish last in the division before the start if Scott Satterfield’s debut season in 2019. That team wound up winning eight games and knocking off Mississippi State in the Music City Bowl. A year ago, U of L was picked to finish fourth overall in a 15-team ACC, and ended up finishing 12th in the league with a 3-7 mark.
Here’s hoping the trend of Satterfield’s Cards being impossible to project continues this fall.
