94 Days Until Kickoff
When the Cards don’t have an athlete wearing the days corresponding jersey number in 2021 I’m going to drop a quick stat, a “did you know” or maybe even a “you ain’t gonna believe this” below. You’re gonna need to click each day to find out what you get….
Stat of The Day: Against Wichita State (Hendo!) in 1972 and Tulsa in 1989 the Cards ran 94 offensive plays in a single game, good enough for the fourth highest total all-time. The record is 99 (Clem, 2016). While Satterfield is known for a run heavy offense, last season we saw the pace pick up a bit as the Cards broke 80 offensive plays twice last year (Mia/GT), a number he never reached in year one running the show.
