Scott Satterfield added another JUCO player to the roster today when Brock Domann announced his commitment to Louisville. Domann is a Quarterback from Independence Community College of Last Chance U fame. He made the NJCAA All-American as an Honorable Mention after throwing for 220 yards per game and 10 touchdowns this spring.
Louisville needs depth in the Quarterback room and Domann gives them a veteran presence who shouldn’t have a problem running the offense. While he doesn’t have a huge arm, he does put good zip on the ball on short and intermediate throws and can evade pressure in the pocket. His completion percentage and interceptions over his career make it pretty clear that he has some accuracy and decision-making issues that Pete Thomas will have to work on.
The top two spots on the depth chart are likely locked in place but the staff obviously wanted to bring in competition as well as depth and Domann at least checks one of those boxes.
I never stopped believing in what God put on my heart. ALWAYS BET ON YOURSELF. It’s been a long journey, but I’m extremely grateful for the experiences that have led me to this point.
