#72 Emmanual Sowders
Class: Junior
Ht/Wt: 6-4/272
Position: Offensive Line
Hometown: Louisville, KY (Product of Jeffersontown High School)
Twitter: @EmmanualSowders
Thoughts: Sowders was a walk-on for the Cards back in 2018 and has done a great job filling in the depth on the Offensive Line the last few seasons, predominately helping out on the practice squad. Sowders, a local young man from J-Town, was a necessary piece of the puzzle back in 2018 as the Cards needed bodies on the line and did a great job coming in and providing some skill to a group that had difficulty fielding a solid two-deep in Petrinos curtain call season. Satterfield and Ledford worked on the group and Sowders has fought his way into a nice spot playing some backup to some talented lineman recently pulled in in the last couple classes.
I don’t anticipate Emmanual getting significant live action reps this year baring some injuries or a major come up during fall camp, but will still be a noteworthy piece of the line as they move into conference play.

Grateful for the opportunity to welcome @lovecityinc in & spend some time giving back.#GoCards pic.twitter.com/j2pEkD4coD
The Cards do a great job as a program making a footprint in the various communities in the city of Louisville every season. While not in this specific video I’ve noticed Sowders is almost always present in these clips/photos and is out repping the city and the program well. Congrats Emmanual, keep working.
