After an extremely strong performance at the NBA G League Elite Camp, Carlik Jones has been added to the roster for the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft Combine.
Jones was one of 40 prospects invited to the G League Elite Camp, and was a clear standout from the moment his first game tipped off. He gave the most complete performance of any player on day one, scoring 23 points on 8-10 shooting to go along with four rebounds, three assists and a steal.

19 point 1st half for Carlik Jones. Already exceeded the game-high from game one. Hit a deep pullup 3 to punish the under but mostly living in the paint with tough finishes through contact at the rim. Showing some vision out of PNR as well. Best player on the floor in either game https://t.co/8lf3gEyR03

Well deserved promotion to the NBA Combine for Carlik Jones. Thought his performance on Sunday was the best of anyone at the event. https://t.co/IkThwflLXs

Jones was spectacular in his first and only season at Louisville. The graduate transfer from Radford earned First Team All-ACC honors and was the runner-up for the ACC Player of the Year award. He was the only player in the ACC to rank among the top six in scoring (16.8 ppg, 6th in the ACC), assists (4.5 apg, 4th), assists/turnovers ratio (2.18, 4th) and free throw percentage (.815, 3rd).
The draft combine started on Monday in Chicago, but will run through Sunday. Best of luck to Carlik as he continues to try and convince someone to use a pick on him in next month’s draft.
