Florida transfer Noah Locke will wear No. 0 at Louisville

Florida transfer Noah Locke has announced that he will be sporting No. 0 for the Louisville men’s basketball team when he suits up for the Cards in 2021-22.

There had been some scuttle after U of L’s social media channels announced Locke’s signing with graphics featuring him in Louisville gear and sporting the No. 10, which he wore during his time at Florida. That number is currently worn by rising junior Samuell Williamson.

Fresh Kimble is the most recent Cardinal to rock the No. 0, which has also been worn by such notables as Terry Rozier and Damion Lee over the last decade. Going back a little bit farther, who could look back on the Rashaad Brooks 00 era without a certain degree of fondness?

Now it’s time to get some more use out of that old No. 0 jersey that you bought at Cardinal Authentic, which was absolutely a “Louisville Cardinals No. 0 jersey” and not a “Terry Rozier jersey.”
