Quentin Snider has been named the Most Valuable Player of the Cyprus League, where he just led his AEK Larnaca squad to the 2020-21 OPAP Basket League title.

Snider averaged 14.9 points, 5.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds over 29 games this past season. In the deciding game for the league championship, Q had 15 points, six assists and five rebounds.

Snider spent his first two professional seasons in Portugal before playing in the Dutch League during the 2019-20 campaign. In his first year in Cyprus’ top league, not only did Snider guide AEK Larnaca to the league championship, but he also helped them win the Cypriot Cup, which is the country’s annual national cup competition.

Congrats to Q not only on all his on-court success, but also on finding a way to live in Cyprus while being paid to play a game. Outside of starring in the NBA, that’s the real basketball dream.
