Louisville basketball’s Saturday game at Virginia postponed

The Cardinals are done hooping for the week.

Due to a positive test within the Louisville men’s basketball program, the Cardinals’ game at Virginia on Saturday has been postponed. It was announced earlier today that U of L’s Wednesday night game at Syracuse had also been postponed.

Virginia will now host Pittsburgh Saturday at 4 p.m. Louisville’s next scheduled game is also against Pittsburgh, it will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 10 in the KFC Yum Center.

The ACC also announced new dates for the previously postponed NC State at Virginia and Pittsburgh at Georgia Tech games. The NC State-Virginia game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 24, while the Pitt-Georgia Tech game will now be played on Sunday, February 14. In addition, the Georgia Tech at Clemson will move up one day and be played on Friday, February 12.

What started out as such a fun week has now turned into a complete bummer.
