Louisville’s scheduled men’s basketball game at Syracuse Wednesday night has been postponed due to positive Covid-19 test within the U of L program. The Cards had already made the trip to Syracuse before the positive test was discovered.
U of L went on a pause back on Dec. 3 after a positive Covid-19 test within the program. That forced the cancelation of a game against UNC Greensboro, as well as the postponement of games against Wisconsin and NC State.
Louisville becomes the second ACC team this week to announce that they’ve had at least one positive test. On Monday, Florida State announced that its next three games will be postponed. The Georgia Tech team that faced U of L on Monday had played the Seminoles just 48 hours earlier.
No word on whether or not this bout with Covid will cause another full pause or more postponements or what, but there will be no game in Syracuse Wednesday evening.
Major bummer.
