The Louisville men’s basketball team has been picked to finish sixth in the ACC by the league’s media members. Chris Mack’s Cardinals received a total of 791 votes in the annual preseason poll, including one first place nod.

Duke, which will be playing its final season under the direction of Hall of Fame head coach Mike Krzyzewski (have you guys seen this? have you heard about this?), is the preseason favorite to win the conference. The Blue Devils are followed in the poll by Florida State, North Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Individually, U of L super senior center has been voted as a preseason Second Team all-conference selection. He was the only Cardinal to receive an individual accolade.
