After being two spots away from even being in the rankings last week, the Louisville men’s basketball team is all the way up at No. 16 in this week’s Associated Press top 25 poll.
The Cards were ranked for two weeks earlier in the season before a 37-point loss at Wisconsin on Dec. 19.
U of L is now the second highest-ranked team in the ACC, sitting behind only No. 12 Clemson. Virginia (18), Duke (19) and Virginia Tech (20) also appear in this week’s poll.
