Though a solid 70 percent of the show seemed to be centered around the Big Ten, ESPN’s College GameDay aired live from Cardinal Stadium Saturday morning, in preparation for the evening’s showdown between Louisville and Miami.
During the second hour, Bill Murray, best known as the father of Louisville basketball assistant Luke Murray, was announced as the show’s celebrity guest picker. After that, rumored celebrity guest pickers Donovan Mitchell, Lamar Jackson and Jack Harlow sent along videos offering their well wishes to the Cards.

While Murray and panelist David Pollack picked Louisville to take care of Miami, Desmond Howard and Lee Corso rode with the Canes.
For Corso, it was the first time he’s picked against Louisville when the team has been hosting GameDay.

This marked the first time that Corso has donned Miami headgear since Sept. 4, 2006, when he incorrectly picked the Hurricanes to beat Florida State. Overall, Corso has picked Miami seven times on GameDay, and he is 5-2 in those games. The former Cardinal coach is 2-1 when it comes to predicting Louisville games on GameDay.
Long day still to go. Spend the hours between now and 7:30 wisely.
