For the third time ever and the first time in the post-Lamar Jackson era, ESPN’s “College GameDay” is coming to Cardinal Stadium.

It might look a little different, but the college football staple will still be in The Ville next weekend to get the world ready for Miami vs. Louisville.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, fans will not be permitted to attend the show and tailgating or parking in any lots, but still ... cool.

Louisville absolutely torched Florida State in 2016, the first time “GameDay” was in town. The show came back a year later to watch Clemson roll to an early season victory over the Cards. U of L’s 2016 game at Clemson was also visited by the GameDay crew.

Kickoff between Louisville and Miami is set for 7:30 p.m. on ABC.

Should be a very fun week around these parts.
