Louisville’s updated 2020 football schedule has been released, and it all starts with a home game against Western Kentucky on Sept. 12. The game will be the only non-conference tilt on the Cardinals’ schedule, which features 10 games against ACC opponents.
Here’s the new guide to your autumn:
Sept. 12 — vs. Western Kentucky
Sept. 19 — vs. Miami
Sept. 26 — At Pittsburgh
Oct. 9 (Friday) — At Georgia Tech
Oct. 17 — At Notre Dame
Oct. 24 — vs. Florida State
Oct. 31 — vs. Virginia Tech
Nov. 7 — At Virginia
Nov. 20 (Friday) — vs. Syracuse
Nov. 27 (Friday) — At Boston College
Dec. 5 — vs. Wake Forest
Clearly, the stretch that stands out here is the Notre Dame, Florida State, Virginia Tech gauntlet to end October. Following that up with a road trip to reigning Coastal Division champ Virginia is no cakewalk either. But if the Cards make it through that portion of the schedule still in contention for a spot in the ACC title game, the final three game sequence of the schedule appears to be the most manageable.
