The Louisville football team will begin the 2020 season ranked No. 20 in the country. Sort of.
The Associated Press released its annual preseason top 25 poll on Monday, a poll for which all 130 FBS teams were eligible. In that poll, Louisville fell just outside of being ranked. If you remove all of the teams who have had their seasons canceled, however, the Cards check in at No. 20.

Moving forward, the AP will limit its poll to only the teams that are actually playing football in 2020.
