#54 Ford Hayes
Class: RS Freshman
Ht/Wt: 6-2/195
Position: Long Snapper
Hometown: Atlanta, GA
Twitter: @FordHayes80
Thoughts: Ford joined the Cards last season as a PWO out of Atlanta (and I mean ATLANTA, not some fool up in Alpharetta reppin’ the A-T-L, but I’m talking high school five miles from downtown, Atlanta). Ford showcased his snapping skills to some schools across the country and found a spot with the Cards. As of today the Cards only have two other long snappers on the roster and my man Mitch Hall is somehow a Senior already so there will be a vacancy in seasons to come. Now, if you know me you know any time we get a long snapper on here I’m dropping some snapping footage on your head, because frankly there is no better way to kick off a Friday than to drown yourself in 5 minutes plus of long snapping highlights, and I’ll have a respectful discourse with anyone who disagrees.
And if for some reason you can’t break down long snapping videos and provide intellectual insight into his performance on you own (do better) I’ll let my guy from ‘Rubio Long Snapping’ do it for you.
“Chick’s dig the long snapper”

I’ve got my four year old running this same exact drill as we speak….I replaced the tire at the end with an inflatable unicorn. I mean, I’m not insane.

#54 Patrick Owens
Class: RS Freshman
Ht/Wt: 6-2/260
Position: Linebacker
Hometown: Louisville, KY (Product of St. Xavier High School)
Twitter: @PatrickOwen52
Thoughts: Patrick is a walk on who came out of St. X last year. Patrick will likely fill up a roster spot on the practice squad this season but without question his name is already in the Louisville record books. Last season prior to the Music City Bowl Patrick put the whole squad on his back, relaxed his mind, expanded his stomach, and took home the championship for the Cards in the wing eating contest at the Wildhorse Saloon…

While your effort and dedication the next three years will be appreciated Patrick, rest easy young fella, your work here is done.

While Patrick gets a shout out in the video I selfishly posted this just so we could see Seth and Mason rap again.
