Louisville lands a Florida kid at a position of need.

Scott Satterfield and his staff has been on a roll on the recruiting trail as of late and they finally landed a much needed addition to the Cornerback room. Rance Conner Jr. committed to the Cards to play Cornerback in Bryan Brown’s defense this afternoon. He is a three star prospect out of Florida who holds offers from LSU, Florida, FSU, UK, South Carolina, and Syracuse.

Louisville has a big need at Corner in this class and it looks like they got a good one in Conner. He is 5-10/175 and he is an absolute ballhawk. He has good but not great speed but his length is solid and he shows some really good cover skills against really good competition in Miami. Some guys just have a “nose for the football” and that’s definitely the case here.

Louisville is in good shape with a handful of other prospects. That includes Jaraye Williams who will announce his commitment on the 30th. Louisville is loading up on defensive players and the class overall will be heavy on that side of the ball. Bryan Brown has been open about the fact that they need to build depth and get guys that fit what he wants to do. They’re doing that so far in the 2021 class.
