Justin Turner, one of the most highly sought-after grad transfers on the market, has trimmed his final list of schools to four, and that list does not include Louisville.
Turner will pick between the option of staying at Bowling Green or transferring to Missouri, Marquette or Iowa State.
A 6’4 guard, Turner averaged 18.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game last season for the Falcons. His three-point prowess would have served as the perfect backcourt accent to U of L point guard David Johnson.
Louisville remains firmly in the mix for Radford grad transfer Carlik Jones, but I’m not going to act like this one doesn’t hurt. Turner would have been a perfect add for the 2020-21 roster.
And so the search continues.
