Assuming there is college basketball played this November, Louisville will face Oklahoma State in the 2020 Armed Forces Classic. This according to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
The 2020 installment of the event, which has been played every year since 2012, will be played at Camp Lejeune, a Marine Corps. base camp in North Carolina. Louisville defeated Minnesota in the 2014 Armed Forces Classic at CGAS Borinquen in Puerto Rico.
Oklahoma State is coming off a season in which it finished 18-14 overall and 7-11 in the Big 12, but the Cowboys still figure to be one of the country’s most talked about teams in 2020-21. The reason is the presence of super freshman Cade Cunningham, the top-rated player in the 2020 recruiting class and the early front-runner to be the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA draft.
Louisville is 3-1 all-time versus Oklahoma State. The last meeting between the two programs was a 78-63 Cardinal victory in the 1993 NCAA tournament.
