After flirting with an early jump to the WNBA, Louisville basketball star Dana Evans has announced that she plans to return to U of L for her senior season.
The 2019-20 ACC Player of the Year and a Second Team AP All-American, Evans led the Cards in scoring at 18.0 points per game last season while connecting on a league-best 90 three-pointers. She became the first player in ACC history to be named the conference’s Player of the Year a season after being named Sixth Player of the Year.
Evans is also one of four finalists for the Wade Trophy, which is given annually to the best player in women’s college basketball.
Jeff Walz is going to be loaded once again in 2020-21.
