EJ Anosike, a 6’6 guard who just wrapped up his redshirt junior season for the Sacred Heart Pioneers, has announced a final list of seven schools for his transfer destination, and Louisville makes the cut.

Anosike, who is eligible to play immediately in 2020-21, is also still considering Gonzaga, Georgetown, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Boston College and Georgia. He tells 247 Sports that he’ll be announcing his decision on Friday.

This is the third high-profile grad transfer that Louisville is currently in the mix for (that we know of), joining Bowling Green guard Justin Turner and Quinnipiac power forward Kevin Marfo.

Anosike averaged a double-double last season, scoring 15.7 ppg and bringing down 11.6 rpg for a Sacred Heart team that went 20-13. He’s not a reliable outside threat (just 25.0 percent from three last season), a limitation that he makes up for with his size and athleticism.

Turner would be the crown jewel grad transfer for Mack to land at the guard position, but Anosike is certainly a player who could help the Cards immediately as well.
