For the first time since Russ Smith in 2014 and for the 21st time overall, Louisville has produced an Associated Press All-American.
Jordan Nwora was named a Third Team All-American by the AP, which unveiled its annual honors Friday afternoon. Nwora was also a preseason AP All-American.
The AP is the fifth group to name Nwora an All-American, joining The Sporting News, USA Today, Sports Illustrated and The Athletic. Each entity had Nwora on its Third Team.
