Jordan Nwora makes Wooden Award late season watch list

The Cardinal was one of 20 players honored.

Louisville junior Jordan Nwora was one of 20 players named to the Wooden Award late season watch list on Monday. The award is given annually to the best overall player in college basketball.

Averaging 19.3 points per game, Nwora is currently the second-leading scorer in the ACC, trailing only Elijah Hughes (19.4 ppg) of Syracuse. His 37-point performance last week against Boston College marked the third most points ever scored by a Cardinal player in a true road game.
