Time, TV for Louisville-Kentucky game changed

Saturday’s Battle of the Bluegrass game between Louisville and Kentucky will now tip-off at 1 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN. That game had previously been slated for a noon tip on ESPN2.

I’m guessing that the stellar performances of both teams over the weekend convinced the brass at ESPN to make the logical move.

Speaking of which, this year’s rivalry game will be the first where neither team is ranked in the AP top 25 since Jan. 5, 2008, when the Cards won 89-75 in Rupp Arena.
