VICTOR MULLEN - TIGHT END

247 Composite: 3*/.8613

247: 3*/85

Rivals: 3*/5.7

ESPN: 3*/75

Other Offers: Syracuse, App State, Iowa State, UCF

Highlights:

Evaluation:

Louisville is getting a big Tight End prospect that has shown good blocking skills with developing pass catching ability. Mullen is a big kid and he will have no issue with his weight in college. He doesn’t have great speed but his stride allows him to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. His value is in his blocking and I think that could help him fight for early playing time with the “Y” spot being open at this point.

Summary:

Mullen had a pretty straightforward recruitment with Pete Notcha identifying him early in the 2019 season and Mullen visiting campus twice as a junior. Stu Holt offered in March and Mullen committed and shut things down in May. Iowa and Iowa State are two teams that also got a visit from Mullen but UofL was able to beat them out. Mullen is the highest composite rated Tight End Louisville has signed since 2006.
