With Tuesday’s reveal of the full schedule for the Wade Houston Tip-Off Classic, we now know what Louisville’s complete non-conference schedule for the 2020-21 men’s basketball season looks like.

Here we go:

Nov. 25 — vs. Southern Illinois (Wade Houston Tip-Off Classic)

Nov. 27 — vs. Seton Hall (Wade Houston Tip-Off Classic)

Nov. 29 — vs. Prairie View A&M (Wade Houston Tip-Off Classic)

Dec. 1 — vs. Western Kentucky (Wade Houston Tip-Off Classic)

Dec. 4 — vs. UNC Greensboro (Wade Houston Tip-Off Classic)

Dec. 9 — At Wisconsin (ACC-Big 10 Challenge)

Dec. 26 — vs. Kentucky

That’s two games against likely preseason top 15 (10?) squads in Kentucky and Wisconsin. Another game against a power conference team likely to make the NCAA tournament in Seton Hall. And then games against two of the likely top five mid-major teams in the country in Western Kentucky and UNC Greensboro, who will both be preseason favorites in their conference.

That’s not bad at all under any circumstances, but it’s especially laudable at the present moment.
