Louisville wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick has to put to bed any notion that he might forego his final season of collegiate eligibility in favor of entering the NFL Draft.

In three seasons at U of L, Fitzpatrick has amassed 106 catches for 1,756 yards and 18 touchdowns. Those 18 touchdowns have him tied with former Super Bowl MVP Deion Branch for the sixth-most in the history of Cardinal football.

Fitzpatrick returning to Louisville means he’ll also have the opportunity to spend one season alongside his younger brother. Christian Fitzpatrick, a three-star wide receiver out of Michigan, signed with U of L last month during the early signing period.

Fitzpatrick was Louisville’s second-leading receiver in 2019, making 35 catches for 635 yards and six touchdowns.
