A conference home game on the first Thursday of the season? I don’t hate it.
Here’s the complete 2020 Louisville football schedule:
Sept. 3 (Thursday) vs. NC State
Sept. 12 at Clemson
Sept. 19 vs. Murray State
Sept. 26 vs. Western Kentucky
Oct. 3 at Syracuse
Oct. 10 at Boston College
Oct. 24 vs. Florida State
Oct. 31 vs. Virginia Tech
Nov. 7 at Virginia
Nov. 14 vs. Wake Forest
Nov. 21 at Notre Dame
Nov. 28 vs. Kentucky
Quick Thoughts:
—I like that we get a couple of extra days before the Clemson game and a week off before the Florida State.
—Consecutive home games against FSU and Virginia Tech is pretty awesome.
—There had been some buzz that the weeknight season-opener was going to be against Clemson. I would have been ok with that, but I like this more.
—I’d prefer to not have the Murray and Western games back-to-back, but that’s a small thing.
—At Notre Dame and then home against Kentucky was the same way we ended the 2014 season. Here’s hoping the 2020 results are also the same.
