Wide Receiver Nick Malito Commits To Louisville Football

The Cards flip the Toledo commit a week after he visited for the Notre Dame game.

Louisville Football got a commitment at a position of need today when Nick Malito flipped his commitment from Toledo to the Cards. Malito was on campus Monday for the Notre Dame game and picked up an offer from the staff. Malito is rated as a three star prospect in the 247 composite and checks in at 6-2/205.

Louisville needed to land at least one outside receiver in this class and they got a guy who can stretch the field with his speed while also showing good route running skills on short routes. Malito had 1313 receiving yards last year and 15 touchdown catches. He averaged just under 25 yards per catch, also. Gunter Brewer has done a good job of identifying a fairly select group of guys to go after in this class and I’d expect them to possibly try to land one more outside guy.
