For those who caught the Florida/Miami game last night..wow. A bit sloppy but a nice way to start off the year. College football is back.
#8 Jarrett Jackson
Class: Sophomore
Ht/Wt: 6-6/285
Position: Defensive Line
Hometown: West Palm Beach, FL
Thoughts: It was announced earlier this week that Jackson would be entering his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal. Jackson played in ten games last year as a freshman but was getting the majority of his reps with the new staff on the third team, and was slotted as such on the fall depth chart.
Jackson was a big target out of high school with plenty of Division-I offers so I have no doubt he’ll find a landing spot. Sometimes very tlanted players just done’t fit into what a staff is trying to do. If it doesn’t work out here best of luck to JJ moving forward.

#8 Keion Wakefield
Class: RS Junior
Ht/Wt: 5-10/184
Position: Wide Receiver
Hometown: Louisville, KY (Product of Male High School)
Thoughts: I already covered Mr. Wakefield back before his number change on Day 82 of the countdown. Feel free to hop in the DeLorean and go back to check that one out. Since that time, the Cards have acquired another slot receiver in Thomas Jackson so PT for Wakefield will continue to be a challenge. I still think we’ll see him this year, but on a more situational basis than I anticipated 74 days ago.
