#48 Jordan Thomas
Class: RS Sophomore
Ht/Wt: 5-11/170
Position: Wide Receiver
Hometown: Lexington, KY

Thoughts: The Cards grabbed Jordan out of Lexington a couple seasons back and immediately moved him to the offensive side of the ball because Bobby only had 75 wide receivers to work with on the roster and needed to add just one more.
Jordan has seen the majority of his playing time on the practice field thus far but could have a few opportunities to get out there this season if that Satterfield offense starts dropping big numbers on teams. The problem for Jordan is not just depth at the position but also lots of experience. The wide receiver room has seven upperclassmen and ten players who have been playing at the collegiate level for three years or more. In fact, as a team overall Louisville ranks 14th in the country and 1st in the ACC in returning experience with 13 Seniors on the projected 2 deep, over 73% of the yardage gained returning from 2018, and over 80% of the tackles from 2018 coming back as well (via philsteele.com). The upperclassmen on this team have been through quite the journey from Top 5 rankings to a 2-10 season, but I think their talent and knowledge, along with a new staff, can help get the Cards back on track and surprise a few folks this year with some unexpected wins.
