This is your token disclaimer that the Governor of Kentucky was nominated by Card Chronicle readers because of his uncool actions against U of L athletics. That’s solely what we’re voting on here.
Now, onto the matchup.
DAN DAKICH

RAP SHEET:
—A 2016 semifinalist, Dakich is making his third appearance in the LCPT.
—Got into it with the Louisville student section in the middle of the Kentucky game.
Here is video of Dakich interacting with Louisville’s student section today. Sent to me by a UofL student pic.twitter.com/8BpVvraG5x

—Officially reported (and then stuck to the “report”) that Jeff Brohm had agreed to become Louisville’s next head football coach and would be introduced at a press conference on Monday, Nov. 26.
—That did not happen, and Dakich would subsequently make jokes about it.
vs.
MATT BEVIN

—Governor of Kentucky making his first appearance in the LCPT.
—Congratulated Kentucky’s men’s basketball team for making the Elite Eight but failed to do the same for the Louisville women, prompting him to be called out by Jeff Walz.
—Eventually did congratulate the ladies, but shouted out U of L president Neeli Bendapudi and not Walz.
—Said after the tournament that Louisville lost to UConn in the Elite Eight because of Walz’s “silliness” and said he was “out-coached” by UConn’s Geno Auriemma. Offered no explanation for why the Kentucky men were upset by Auburn in the same round.
You’ve got 24 hours to send one to the semis.
