#67 Thomas Nauert
Class: Grad Student
Ht/Wt: 6-1/307
Position: Long Snapper
Hometown: Louisville, KY (Product of DeSales High School)
Twitter: @TNauert67
Thoughts: Tee-Homas (don’t check the school pronunciation chart, it’s legit, I promise) has been with the Cards for awhile, now experiencing his fourth season on campus as a walk-on from DeSales High School. Nauert played on the O-line back before joining the Cards and had been listed as an O-lineman the previous three seasons, getting the significant portion of his reps on the scout team. In a striking turn of events that rocked the position group Tee-Homas hung up his jersey as an O-lineman and said “special teams is the life for me. Chick digs the long ball snapper”, shifting positions and getting a ‘Regulators’ tattoo across his stomach. Bold move, but that’s just how Tee-Homas does things.
In all seriousness, just in case Grandma Nauert is reading this, he didn’t say those things, and no tattoo grandma. In fact, Mr Nauert is a fine your man who conducted a nice interview with Pam Stackhouse and appears to be supplementing his income selling Louisville memorabilia online (That’s a joke too grandma). Best of lucky to Nauert this year. Snap them long, snap them straight.
