Louisville has added one last graduate transfer to its roster for the 2019-20 season.
Keith Oddo, who has spent the past three seasons at Richmond, will be playing his final season of college basketball for the Cardinals. He’ll be a walk-on at U of L.
“Thank you to Coach Mack and the University of Louisville staff for this unbelievable opportunity,” Oddo posted on Instagram. “I can’t wait to start my Masters degree in Sports Administration this coming week! To Coach Mooney and the Richmond staff, I appreciate everything that you have done for me over the last four years...I would not be in this position if it wasn’t for you.”
Oddo — who has made no bones about the fact that his primary goal in the future is to become a coach — appeared in nine games and scored three points last season for the Spiders. He is a native of Roanoke, Va.
I’m just gonna say what we’re all thinking .... “Oddomatic.”
Welcome aboard, Keith.
