Louisville men’s basketball held a “perfect attendance” celebration event Tuesday night at the KFC Yum Center for season ticket holders who made it to every home game during the 2018-19 season.
Multiple attendees of the event have reported that Chris Mack, while addressing the fans from the court, hinted at a change in the midcourt logo before the start of the 2019-20 campaign.
“All I can say is this court is going to look a lot different the next time you see it,” Mack reportedly said.
Attendees were also given these:

It’s no secret that Mack has fully embraced the “Dunking Cardinal Bird” logo since his arrival, even plastering it on the court of the Planet Fitness Kueber Center practice facility.
My only question is if the bird is going to be limited to midcourt, or if it’s going to stretch out the length of the floor as shown in the illustration. If it’s the latter, that might be just a tad bit busy for a lot of fans (including your boy). Programs like NC State and Oregon can have a monopoly on oversized midcourt logos and wild ass court designs.
I’m not saying it would be the worst thing in the world, I’m just saying normal-sized Dunking Cardinal Bird at midcourt feels ideal.
