The weather in Omaha has pushed the conclusion of Louisville’s College World Series elimination game against Auburn back to Wednesday. The Cardinals and Tigers will wrap up their game beginning at 12:03 ET.

Entering the fifth inning, Louisville owns a 4-1 lead in this must-win game. The Cards got the scoring started on Tuesday with a solo home run in the first inning off the bat of shortstop Tyler Fitzgerald.

After Auburn tied the score an inning later, U of L seized control with three runs in the fourth inning. A pair of those came on a two-error play by the Tigers.

The winner of Wednesday’s game will move on to face the loser of the Vanderbilt-Mississippi State game, which will be played immediately after. The loser will go home.
