The fourth-ranked Louisville baseball team continued its absolute tear through the first weeks of spring by taking all three games of a road series at Notre Dame over the weekend. The Cardinals have not lost a game to the Fighting Irish since 2013.

The Cards have a 3-game lead in the ACC at 18-6 with 6 games to go.
Louisville leads Division I with 39 wins.
Not only has U of L won 19 straight over Notre Dame, the Cards have now won an absurd 14 straight in South Bend. Overall, Louisville has won nine straight and 15 of its last 16.
With the sweep — Louisville’s fourth in ACC play so far this season — the Cardinals maintain the best record in the conference. U of L also sits four games up on NC State and five up in the loss column on Florida State in the Atlantic Division.
Here are the updated league standings with two weeks to play in the regular season:
Next up for Louisville is a nationally televised top-five showdown against rival Vanderbilt on Tuesday night at Jim Patterson Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. with the game set to be shown on ESPNU.
