Montrezl Harrell has been named one of three finalists for the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award. Los Angeles Clippers teammate Lou Williams and Indiana’s Domantas Sabonis are the other finalists.
Harrell enjoyed a breakout 2018-19 season in which he posted averages of 16.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game. Many thought those numbers might get Harrell a nod as a finalist for the NBA’s Most Improved Player award, but he didn’t rack up enough votes to make the top three in that category.
