The Louisville baseball team scored its most runs in a game and produced its largest margin of victory in a game since 1947 with a 32-1 stomping of Alabama A&M Friday night at Jim Patterson Stadium. The Cardinals last produced a more lopsided performance on April 18, 1947 when they routed Georgetown College, 42-1.
Headlining the onslaught was freshman third baseman Alex Binelas, who became the sixth U of L player ever and the first since 1998 to hit for the cycle.
@AlexBinelas13 HAS HIT FOR THE CYCLE!

The Cards finished with 28 hits. Alabama A&M had just two.
For the sake of comparison, the U of L football team scored more than 32 in just one game this past season — the Cards scored 35 in a 56-35 loss to Wake Forest.
The worst part of this for Alabama A&M? They’ve got two more games to play at Patterson this weekend.
