The sixth-ranked Louisville baseball team remained red-hot with a 12-0 road win over Cincinnati Tuesday night. The Cardinals have now won nine times in their last 10 tries.
Catcher Zeke Pinkham went 3-for-5 at the dish and drove in a game-high four runs. Alex Binelas brought home three runs of his own, and Tyler Fitzgerald belted a two-run homer.

The 12-run effort marked the 14th time this season the Cards have produced double-digit runs in a game.
On the mound, five Cardinal pitchers combined for the shutout. Freshman righty Jack Perkins worked three scoreless innings to pick up the win and improve to 3-0 on the season.
Congrats to the baseball Cards on making sure U of L still owns the most recent meeting with Cincinnati in football, basketball (men’s and women’s) and baseball.
Let the kids drink out of the Keg of Nails to celebrate.
