For the 17th consecutive year, Louisville was the top market in the country for ESPN’s college basketball coverage. Once again, the distance between No. 1 and everyone else was significant.
Louisville also rose this year to the No. 3 market for ESPN’s women’s basketball coverage.
ESPN’s college basketball slate was up significantly from last year to this one, with men’s basketball up 15 percent, averaging 1,199,000 viewers per game. Across all networks, men’s basketball finished up six percent, and women’s basketball was up five percent.
