Boston College head coach Jim Christian revealed Tuesday that senior guard Jordan Chatman will play in Wednesday night’s home game against Louisville. Due to a finger injury, Chatman sat out the team’s 76-66 loss at Clemson on Saturday.
Averaging 13.7 ppg, Chatman is currently the Eagles’ third-leading scorer. He was the team’s leading scorer in its 80-70 loss at Louisville last month, a game in which Chatman scored 21 points and connected on 6-of-10 three-point attempts. He has hit double figures in scoring in all three of his career games against the Cardinals.
Christian did not give an update on the status of freshman guard Wynston Tabbs, who has missed the team’s last nine games because of a knee injury. The team’s second leading scorer at 13.9 ppg, he did not play in the first game against Louisville last month. It’s a safe bet that Tabbs will once again be inactive Wednesday night.
